The required natural voice runs on your device after preparation. Download on Wi-Fi in a WebGPU-compatible browser or installed app.
Choose a microphone and test voice recognition.
Choosing a specific microphone uses Whisper for recognition, because the browser's built-in recogniser always listens on the system default.
Choose which provider Murmur tries first.
Set up at least three provider accounts. Free and paid providers both count. Murmur tries them in priority order if one is unavailable. Choosing a provider here moves it from any previous slot.
These API-key connections use separate provider billing; a chat subscription does not supply an API key. Adding your key can incur charges under that provider’s plan. Keys stay on this device.

Your Murmur account keeps learning progress separate from guest practice.
Preview each import before applying it. Guest history stays separate until you choose to bring it into the selected account. Historical totals do not count as new independent answers.
An older GitHub export can still be read with an existing token. This is optional migration only; your Murmur account does not use GitHub repositories for sync.
